Why listen to The Birthright Podcast?
There is something incredibly powerful about hearing another woman tell her birth story. Stories can teach us, reassure us, and remind us of what is possible. Throughout my own pregnancies, birth stories have been one of the things that helped me move through fear and trust my body. They gave me insight into the many ways birth can unfold and reminded me that birth is something women have been doing for generations. This podcast is a place to hear real stories, gain wisdom from other mothers, and build confidence as you prepare for your own physiological birth. Because sometimes, hearing another woman say, “I did it,” is exactly what we need to believe, “I can do this, too.” Birth stories are more than stories—they are reminders that birth works.
I named this podcast Birthright because I believe physiological birth is a woman’s birthright—and that a baby’s birthright is to enter the world in an intimate, instinctive, and deeply connected way. Birth is not simply a medical event; it is a profound biological process shared between mother and baby. When we understand birth, hear the stories of those who have walked before us, and learn to trust the wisdom of our bodies, fear can begin to give way to confidence. Birthright exists to remind women of what they are capable of, to share real stories of birth, and to create a space where we can return to the innate wisdom that has always been within us.
My prayer is that Birthright becomes a source of encouragement, wisdom, and confidence for every woman who listens—that these stories would quiet fear, strengthen faith in the process of birth, and remind you of the incredible wisdom your body carries. If this podcast has encouraged you or given you something valuable, I would be so grateful if you would like, share, follow, and leave a review. And if you have a birth story of your own, I would love to hear it. Your story may be exactly what another woman needs to hear as she prepares for her own birth. If you’re willing to share, please fill out the form above. Your story matters, and it may help another woman believe that she can do this, too.
